Periodic changes to this document
This privacy policy may be revised over time as new features are added to the NavDog service or as we incorporate suggestions from our members. Please consult this policy for changes on a periodic basis or if you feel the handling of your information may have changed.

Information Storage & Transmission
Please note that any personal information we collect from you will be stored and processed on our computer systems. NavDog will store and transmit your personal information in a safe and secure environment that is monitored by our staff.

Required Information
In order to become a member of NavDog you must provide a unique member name, valid email address, a secure password and the address of your primary residence. In order to list an event you will be required to supply a current phone number where you can be reached to validate your event.

Optional Information
Information you may want to make public in your listing is optional and left to your personal discretion. By choosing to voluntarily provide this information to the public you are agreeing to hold NavDog harmless from any damages resulting from the publication of this information.

Information Sharing
NavDog has no agreements with our service providers or any other firms to share personal information about our members, to include their interests, online habits, shopping patterns or any other such data. We have made a commitment to never share this or any other data we may collect in the course of our business with any entity outside of our own company and staff. However, we may be forced to share this information with law enforcement, if we have credible evidence that public safety maybe at risk, or we are compelled to do so by a legal authority.

Information Provided By Third Parties
In order to validate the authenticity of your listing on our site we may compare the address, phone number or email address you have provided to us with third party databases such as Microsoft Map Point, Paypal, or your credit card company. Information on members who do not list events will not be compared to any other known sources of this type of information. Listings that do not have addresses may be contacted directly by our staff for a quick verification.

Transaction Information
We retain minimal information for each of your transactions initiated on NavDog and rely on Paypal or other financial institutions to record the specific personal or financial information needed to complete the transaction. We collect the Internet address (IP address) of the computer or device you use to access your NavDog member account, in order to help detect possible instances of unauthorized transactions or abuse of your account.

Web Site Traffic & Cookies
Because of the way that internet protocols and communication standards are employed, we receive and log the Web address of the site that you came from (referring page) when you arrive at the NavDog Web site. We also collect information on which pages of our Web site you visit while you are on our site. We also collect information on the type of browser you use, your computers operating system and the dates and times you access the NavDog site. This traffic data is used to enhance our site mechanics, look and feel, browser compatibility, ease of use, and overall performance as a site and service. "Cookies" are files of data that reside on your computer and are transmitted back to us when you return to the site. They allow us to recognize you as a NavDog member if you return to the NavDog site using the same computer and browser. We use a "session cookie" when you log in to your NavDog member account by entering your member name and password, this allows for a convenient member experience while navigating the features of the site. The session cookie will expire a short time after you log off of our site as a security precaution.

If you object to any of your personal information being stored, transferred or used as described in this Privacy Policy, please do not register for the NavDog service.
